Zavarka is a Russian-inspired tea company that I created. The company was created for tea enjoyers who want to try something new, as Russian tea is not very common and is not seen in the typical American grocery store. For this reason, I envisioned this brand to be sold primarily online and have a shipping service. I have Russian heritage myself, so I chose this concept to pay homage to my family and also learn more about the tea traditions in Russia as I was not all that familiar at first. Each tea flavor is named after a city in Russia and has a flavor that reflects it. Each flavor also has a mascot that I illustrated to represent it as well. I created many hand-drawn illustrations for this brand so evoke Russian folk art styles. The colors are also reflective of typical Russian folk art.
